How to Remove Cydia Application Sources

There are several iPhone applications being authored by several iPhone programmers. But a very few applications are approved by Apple. Where the Cydia comes into play. The Cydia application lets you download and install iPhone applications that can only be run on jailbroken iPhones. It provides a platform for applications that have been rejected by Apple. But, Cydia also has some policies to approve iPhone applications

Adding more applications to Cydia hamper your iPhones's performance. Cydia Applications look for update from several sources that are connected to Cydia when you open the apps. So removing your unwanted application make your iPhone's response faster

1. Download the iPhone Browser from the link @

2. Install the Application by clicking on the .exe file

3. launch the Application by Start Menu ➪ Programs ➪ iPhoneBrowser

4. The iPhone Browser will start searching for iPhone. Make sure that your iPhone is connected to the computer and also unlock the iPhone with the pass code, if any

5. In the root section go to etc ➪ app ➪ sources.list.d
On the right side of the iPhoneBrowser application screen you will notice the list of sources that have been added to Cydia so far

6. Click on any of the sources that you want to remove or have been corrupted and press the delete key to remove that source

7. Restart your iPhone
